Chez Paul

Local Maui residents and long time visitors to Maui remember a legendary island restaurant just South of Lahaina in the tiny town of Olowalu.  Back when Maui offered very few fine dining experiences Chez Paul offered both classical French food and a bit of glamour.  On any given night you might run into local high school seniors celebrating graduation with the meal of a lifetime, or Hollywood celebrities enjoying the casual elegance that the island of Maui was once famous for.  Olowalu itself was a place of legend.  The valley that began here was the site of some of the fiercest battles waged by King Kamehameha as he sought to unify his kingdom.  Even today legend has it that the ghosts of the fallen warriors, the legendary “night walkers” can still be heard on their nightly marches.  Sadly, Chez Paul closed its doors in 2009 and now the ghosts of romantic evenings of champagne and laughter are all that is left of this famous Olowalu hideaway.

With each purchase of a framed print, an unframed print will be shipped free of charge.  The title shipped will be based on inventory and at our discretion.  Each additional framed print purchased will result in an additional free unframed print with a different title.
